Automotive Methods Engineer

Global automotive manufacturing company in Greer, SC is seeking an Automotive Methods Engineer to supports pre-series builds of new models to help identify, analyze, and drive resolution of new model specific problems (dimensional).  Hourly rates range from $27.17 to $33.21 depending on experience.

Qualifications for the Automotive Methods Engineer include:

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical).
• 1-3 years of product engineering, technical problem solving, and KIFA experience
• 1-3 years innovated problem solving experience - design, quality and/or process
• 1-3 years of problem prioritization experience - launch preventing vs. launch critical problem solving
• 1-3 years of successful, on-time implementation of engineering changes, new models, or packages

In the role of Automotive Methods Engineer, your job responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing the scope of new designs by means of a systematic methods approach, with the goal being a repeatable, robust manufacturing process.
• Developing solutions to highly complex or unusual problems, which require regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
• Adhering to and administering business policies, budgets, procedures, practices and/or review of major projects and assignments.
• Supporting procurement, process engineering, and design engineering in the problem solving process with external suppliers (i.e. presents data or develops possible solutions, evaluates solutions).

This position is a long term renewable contract with excellent hourly rates including benefits!
